Christ will come…
Imagine living life before Christ’s birth. For many followers of the Messiah, they found hope in the messiah who would come.
For Noah and his family, they were confident that the Lord would protect them and continually guide their steps, even in the face of an unknown future. The promises of God carried immense weight in the hearts of those who trusted in His covenant.
Abraham was called by God to leave everything familiar behind for a promise that wouldn’t be fulfilled in his lifetime.
The faithful saints in Zarahemla placed their unwavering trust in the prophecy of the Savior's coming. They relied completely on God, willing to sacrifice their lives if the sign was not fulfilled.
Before Christ’s birth, the hope for brighter days wasn’t just a wish. It was confidence rooted in the covenants God made with His people. It was a hope carried in the words of the prophets, who spoke of a coming Messiah who would establish justice, bring peace, and heal the brokenness of the world.
This Christmas we will study a few of the prophecies of The Saviors coming, It is my hope that as we study together you feel a fraction of what those in the early church felt.
